The application helps you to live every hour like the last one
Schedule everything that is not important. So you'll see how little time you have left!
We've spent $3400 for tests on how to represent time slots better and how to manipulate them easier.
And here is the icon. The head of the penguin fits into iOS 7 icon grid.
This is what we got after... lots of work.
Initial version. These is one of two screens with highlighted defects, which was provided by BitTorrent.
Evolution of progress bar
One of the problems was an enormous amount of stripes.
We reduced it in a number of ways such as replacing the full-width splitter with a button on the right.
All magic goes here. It's a private chat.
The biggest problem is: how to visualize the sound? Here is how.
How to make distinctive avatars? Here is how.
List of talkbits. They look distinctive, right?

Sidebar open. We wanted it playful. Well, client wanted first, we wanted after.

Active Timers. Here we go with image of some (2-3) timers running for quite some time.
Paused timer. Instead of creating a calendar item, setting the date and time, typing the name, you're all set in few clicks.

Here's the website for Russian girls. Funky.
Old version of the website. We had this to rework.
And this one, and so on.
The style was spread to multiple screens.
The call History
Same time, we were working on icons. Attached are few rough sketches for discussing the idea with the client.
This is what we got initially. The prototype was quite good.
Mango Office is a phone system to manage incoming calls within an organization. We've done the graphic design for it.
To compare, that is the original prototype we've got from the client
Here's the evolution of one of the blocks
After some initial sketches, we've discovered: 1. People use it daily, no brights 2. The client is an artist and loves subtles
Whatever could be opened is opened
The most prominent action is the most expected one. You never confuse accept and drop the call.

Buttons of 5000,1000 etc.have colors of the corresponding bills. Result of rework: list of purchases is better structured.
This is the version of the same software but for POS terminals with the hardware keyboard (no touch screen buttons here).

The application is really subtle, not having many controls besides these two. But hey, it still has to be beautiful.
CustomWorks is a plugin for SolidWorks. On this sketch, the old style is below, the reworked one on top.
Application Icons for AutomateWorks, BendWorks and CustomWorks
The predicted salary and occupation are visualized with a credit card and badge in top right corner.
Pump my job helps school kids choose the right profession in order to gain money, respect and hot patners.

We did our best to get away of another boring government website. Live design, hand-drawn pictures, simple language.
Forums are about connecting people. So the logo is about connected points. Hand-drawn lines highlight they informal atmosphere.
First we created the rough prototype
First we created the rough prototype
We went through all pages and rethought every page. Like this: it's a form with illustration linked to it.
Often designers create just couple templates for static content. We reworked all from the scratch.
After prototype was ready, we performed usability testing on users.
After few revisions, we've got this. The photo of the product is present. Icons are better.
Now it's time for design. As the company cleans water, we need a really really clean design.
That is the old version of the website. We've reworded it.
The megamenu opened. No cheap effects here. The grid is the only decoration we can afford.
Two layers: the bottom one is the actual sample such as wedding invitation. The top one is logo and navigation, black and white.
Not only we created the website, but some wedding invitations too.
The company deals with wedding accessories. Accessories are expensive, so the logo is strict. Decorated. Expensive.
